Howdy, I’m Molly. I am currently the Fieldwork Coordinator at the Michigan Traditional Arts Program. Working at a state folklife program, I’ve been lucky to experience how such a program can serve the public–from fieldwork, festivals, archival work and digitization, apprenticeships and awards, to writing through blogs and film, building new community relationships, and working on grants. I have a MA in Ethnomusicology from Memorial University of Newfoundland and firmly believe that St. John’s, NL is one of the most captivating places in the world. I enjoy playing around with old time music at jams and dances, and am constantly humbled by people sharing their stories.
